Netbank launches a neo-bank mobile app for Overseas Filipinos

Netizen is a complete neo-bank app, operating on Netbank's platform.

Netizen app allows Overseas Filipino Workers to open an account in the country where they work via a mobile app, transfer funds into the Philippines (via a low cost remittance partner) and manage the funds in their account. NetBank's app already includes utility bill payments, money transfer, cash withdrawal via pawn shop networks and purchase of online goods, so is immediately available to Netizen clients. Virtual payment cards will soon be included. NetBank is the sole technology partner of Netizen, able to provide all the needed technology and a wide range of channel integrations. Netizens will launch in November 2021.
